Our Director
Hemsby Constructions is led by Khalid Ismail, a Licensed Builder and Project Leader with a strong track record across Defence, major government projects, commercial builds, and residential construction.
Before founding Hemsby, Khalid worked in senior roles within the Department of Defence, multinational project management firms and reputable builders in NSW. These environments demand careful planning, strict quality checks, and tight control of budget, safety, and timelines—because mistakes aren’t tolerated.
Khalid brings that same disciplined approach to boutique residential building. That means clear scope from the start, organised scheduling, well-coordinated trades, and quality standards that are properly checked -not just assumed. Clients get direct communication, transparent decisions, and workmanship that holds up over time -whether it’s a premium custom home, refurbishment, or a considered secondary dwelling.
Qualifications & Credentials: Bachelor of Construction Management and Property (UNSW), PMP Certified, NSW Building Licence.
